The summer season has now drawn to a close in Newmarket, with the final meeting at the Adnams July Course taking place last Friday. NRT is proud to have been transporting horses to and from meetings in Newmarket throughout the summer – and what a summer it has been! However, now it is time to look forward to the Newmarket Gold Season at the Rowley Mile Racecourse.
There are some fantastic meetings taking place at the Gold Season and for us, the pleasure doesn’t just stop at watching the racing, we will also be transporting horses and looking after these magnificent beasts!

Betfred Cesarewitch Trial Day
23rd September 2017
This meeting is the first of the Gold Season and is a warm up for the famous Cesarewitch Handicap which takes place as part of the Dubai Future Champions Festival. The trial day is a chance to get yourselves in the mood for what promises to be an excellent autumn of racing!
The Cambridgeshire Meeting
28th-30th September 2017
This is the first of the two season-highlight race meetings and the big race to see over the three days is the Cambridgeshire Handicap. This historic race is run over a distance of 1 mile and 1 furlong and makes up the first half of the Autumn Double. The sight of 30 horses at full gallop along the amazing Rowley Mile course is certainly one to behold!
The Dubai Future Champions Festival
13th-14th October 2017
The second big meeting is the Dubai Future Champions Festival. This fantastic two-day festival features some excellent Group 1 racing, along with the second half of the Autumn Double, the Cesarewitch Handicap. Taking place over 2 miles and 2 furlongs, this race is steeped in history and is sure to thrill.
